Reports

Remote tracking

The annual monitoring service is a “worry-free” addition to your electrical management devices

Our remote tracking service includes:

  • Our technical expertise via 24/7 modem
  • A weekly check of your consumption read by our equipment
  • An annual inspection of your equipment
  • Modification of the monthly setpoint for the power to be maintained by
the optimizer, in synchronization with the Hydro-Québec meter
  • Changing optimizer settings
  • A detailed monthly report of your consumption
  • Annual report of savings generated
  • Track your energy consumption bills (Electricity and other)
  • Assistance and logistics in the event of a dispute with a Hydro-Québec invoice
    for obtaining credit

Monthly consumption report

The monthly report is a detail of the consumption read by our equipment.

Optimization devices store hundreds of pieces of information including:

  • The electric peak reached
  • The theoretical electric peak
  • Optimizer setpoint
  • Daily consumption (10 minute ranges)
  • The success of the optimizer
  • And more!

Our software analyzes the data collected and writes the monthly report. This report gathers the relevant information that occurred during the month. It is an effective way for you to track your consumption and compare the successes of your RSW installations yourself.

HOW TO READ A MONTHLY REPORT

Annual savings report

The annual report shows you the theoretical savings that have been generated by the optimization of electrical energy.

Several analysis methods are used in order to properly reference our data.

Year of reference

The 12 months preceding the installation of our equipment are a key reference for your current energy consumption. We use your Hydro invoices and record the data read (kW, kVA, kWh, credits and others) in order to compare with the years to come. This is the method most often used for reports.

Production volume

In addition to the reference year and the consumption data, if your company is a production plant, you will understand that your consumption is not the same from year to year, since the volume can vary. So we do a calculation to the corresponding volume unit in order to calculate the energy / saving used / saved for a unit.

Cost per kWh

This method makes it possible to compare the energy costs of the reference year versus the optimized year by calculating how much each kWh used in the period cost. Simple and direct, this method adapts well to any type of building and demonstrates the improvement in the use of electrical energy.

According to EBA

Our operating system records theoretical data depending on how the optimizer works. These data return an approximate value of what was avoided in terms of consumption. Thus, we can perform a simple formula adding the evaluated optimization successes with the real data, according to the Power Factor and thus evaluate how much it would have cost you in electricity if the optimizer did not work.

This method is practical and gives a very positive idea of the proper functioning of the equipment. On the other hand, when your building consumes fossil fuels, you have to take into account that these would also have been different if the electricity had not been used in the same way. This is why we use this method less for customers using multiple energy sources.

Greenhouse gas

In each annual report of customers using fuels, we are able to assess the amount of greenhouse gases avoided in comparison with the reference year, by evaluating the volume of fuel that was not consumed. It is a theoretical value, considering that consumption would probably also have varied.

All the data relevant to your personalized file is laid out in order to provide you with a detailed and easy-to-read annual report.

Here are two examples of monthly reports. One calculated by production volume in a factory, and one calculated by reference year in a school.
